Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD), SCH/STH Technical Advisor |
Provide technical assistance to the NTD Regional Task force and Regional Health bureau in the development of work plans and budgets Create forecast drugs and supplies necessary for annual or biannual treatment dates based on the Y1-Y5 scale up treatment targets Work with the PFSA regional hubs for timely drug distribution to the woreda level and health centers Support the potential regional adaptation of training matrial, as well as oversee the appropriate and timely training material distribution from the regional to the district level Develop an effective region –specific public awareness strategy collaboration with district officials focusing on NTDs in general SCH/STH in particular and increased community mobilization to increase therapeutic and geographic coverage of the treatment to 100% Facilitate the timely and accurate flow of financial expenditure data from the woreda level to the regional and federal level Ensure that the impact, performance, and process monitoring and evaluation of the program from the regional to district level |
BSc degree in health related fields 12 years or BSc + MPH or MSC and 9 years or MD 7 years or MD + MPH and 4 years relevant service in NTD program management at least at regional level |

Duration of contract:
- For vacancy No. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 up to September 2016 with possible extension depend on performance.
- For Vacancy No. 6 for 11 month with possible extension depend on performance
- For vacancy No. 7 and 8 for one year with possible extension depend on performance
- Additional Benefits : For CDC funded position 31% of their salary additional benefit package
