Addis International Catering (AIC) is a leading service provider for prestigious international airlines such as Emirates, Egypt Air, Fly Dubai, Kenya Airways, Qatar Airways, Saudia, Turkish Airlines and Yemenia. In addition, major global private business jet operators and VIP charters form a significant part of our customer portfolio. We operate out of Bole International Airport in a state of the art catering facility with easy access to the airport as well as the city.

The company has just opened its door to cater to the local market in Addis Ababa. We are expanding our business by engaging into contract catering with an aim of meeting our clientele’s food and beverage requirements. Moreover, our retail outlets will soon be open for everyone to take pleasure in, and capture the local catering events in town. Therefore, we are inviting high caliber candidates to fill in the below position.

Job Title:-Finance & Administration manager

Job Summary:

The finance & Administration Manager is responsible for establishing and executing internal controls over the company’s accounting and financial procedures. One of the main functions is to provide financial leadership and accounting strategies in the department.

Qualification:

Education:

Graduate in Business Management, Major in Finance
Experience:
15 years in a similar capacity, with a minimum of 5 years in Top Management level in an Airline catering industry
Skills needed:
Excellent in the English communication skills
Proficient in the use of computer
Analyzes and provides financial information
Recognizes cash flow and foresee future business trends
Highly analytical
Formulates strategies and long term business plans with NPV using WACC
Researches and reports on factors influencing business performance
Develops financial management mechanisms that minimizes financial risks
Conducts reviews and evaluates cost-reduction opportunities
Directs and manages the company’s financial accounting and reporting systems
Surpasses audit reviews
With vast network and highly connected with appropriate contacts (i.e. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the inland revenue;
Produces accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
Manages budgets
With strong management and leadership skills
Highly knowledgeable in the financial regulations and legislation
Prepares P & L statement, Balance sheet and cash flow statement with IFRS standard
