Huawei Technologies Ethiopia engaged in the entire network construction of ethip-telecom including GSM, CDMA,Fixed Network, in order to provide better services to Ethiopia Telecom and contribute more to the success of GTP 2.

Therefore we would like to invite qualified and competent applicant to work with us on the following position.

Name of the vacancy BSS Maintenance Engineer

Required number 1

Major duties and responsibilities:

Maintain Business support system, including trouble ticket, system routine check, configuration, system updating & upgrading .etc
Participate in the planning, Coordination, and implementation scheduled system releases’
Install, configure, maintain and support BSS environments to ensure it provides the defined functionality, performance and reliability requirements

Required skill and Qualification

Bachlor degree of above.
Familiar with UNIX/LINUXOS,familiar with Oracle Database, knowing Network design and configuration. Experience on IBM/Blade center is preferred.
Familiar with software programming, shell programming is preferred.
4+ years relevant working experience, similar field working experience is preferred.
Have the basic knowledge of telecommunication principle and structure
Good at English speaking and writing.
Good Communication and coordination ability. Good team work spirit
