PREAMBLE:                         The Ethiopian Catholic Church Social and Development                                           commission coordinating

                                           office of soddo is charity organization, which executes                                             the mandate given to it

                                           by the social development commission (ECC-SDCO)                                                registered by the Federal

                                          Charity and Society Agency (ChSA) proclamation no                                               621/2009 registration no.

                                          0756 as the one of the thirteen diocesan social and                                                  development projects and

                                           programs implementation  arm of the catholic Bishops                                             Conference of Ethiopia    

POSITION:                           EXCUTIVE DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

JUB SUMMARY:                      The incumbent assumes responsibility for                                                               planning, organizing, directing,

                                            coordinating and controlling the entire program                                                     activities carried out in the

                                            organization. He/she shall be taking charge of follow                                               up and supervising the

                                            day-to day activities of the programs of ECC-SDCOS

                                           Shall be able o assist the Diocesan Director in                                                        overseeing the management and

                                           implementation of the social and development works                                              and provide technical

                                           assistance etc.

REQUIRD QUALIFICATION:

EDUCATION :                     MA/BA or MSc/ BSc Degree in Development economics,                                         Rural development /

                                        Agricultural Economics or any other related in social &                                           Development fields from

                                           recognized university

EXPERIENCE:                      7/9 years and above in similar organizations proven                                              experiences and expertise

SKILLS:                               in strategic planning, organizational development, and                                            project cycle  

                                            management in civil society organizations preferably                                               in Catholic church

                                            Institutions. Efficiency in advanced computer                                                         applications: MS windows, Excel,

                                            Access and power point

OTHER

COMPETENCIES:                      Leadership, judgment and decision, communicating                                               organizational vision &
