Vacancy Announcement
1. position: Elementary Teacher Assistant for an international school
2. Education: Certificate and above in teaching /Related field
3. Experience:
* Very proficient in spoken & Written English
* Relevant experience with children aged 7-11 years old
* Good communication ability with multicultural staff
4. Basic Responsibilities
* Assist Teacher in charge & the children with their learning
* Work with groups on a specified task
* Facilitate teaching –learning processes
* Hear readers or sound /word work
* Assist children in Library and Music sessions
* Maintain classroom resources
* Participate in staff meetings when requested
* Perform other related tasks as necessary
5. Other Requirements
* Interest in working with children
* Willing to learn new teaching methods
* Recommendation from a previous employer or a person known to SIM
6. Terms of Employment: probation /permanent
